I’m a 16‑year‑old rising junior passionate about math, science, and medicine—exploring how research and patient care come together to improve lives.
A glimpse into my journey toward medicine
Hi! My name is Naomi Harsha, and I’m a 16‑year‑old rising junior at Walnut Grove High School in Prosper, Texas. I have a strong passion for math and science, and I’m especially interested in how these subjects connect to medicine and healthcare.
From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by how the human body works and how scientific discoveries can improve lives. My goal is to study medicine and work toward a career as a physician. I’m particularly drawn to fields that combine problem‑solving, research, and patient care, where I can make a real difference in people’s lives.
Along with my academic interests, I’m building my experience through certifications and activities that prepare me for the medical field. I’m a BLS Provider, STOP the Bleed Certified, and a Texas Pharma Tech Trainee, and I’m actively seeking opportunities to volunteer in healthcare settings and shadow physicians. These experiences are helping me gain valuable exposure to medicine while strengthening my skills and knowledge.
I’m currently enrolled in the EKG Program at my high school to gain hands‑on experience in cardiac monitoring and interpretation.
Outside of academics, I enjoy coding, volunteering, and reading, and I’m always eager to learn new things that challenge me both inside and outside the classroom.
Thanks for stopping by—I’m excited to share my journey as I continue exploring the path toward becoming a future healthcare professional!
